The Supply Chain Manager is a leader with responsibilities across all areas of supply chain, including sourcing, planning and ordering, logistics, and systems. They will lead strategy and decision making related to supply chain electronic systems and reporting. They will also contribute to decision making across the department, manage support to sites, and ensure coordination of supply chain activities across sites. The Manager must be comfortable representing the Supply Chain and Logistics team both internally and externally to vendors, donors, and other partners of importance to PIH, and will support and contribute to broader organizational projects, including system and reports design, budget creation, and analysis of critical data.
Responsibilities:
- Management and Site Support
- Act as lead point of contact for assigned projects, including setting up systems to maintain regular communication and reporting back to site-based leaders and supply chain/operations staff about updates and progress
- Plan, prepare, and conduct trainings when traveling to sites on supply chain processes and systems and identify opportunities for capacity building
- Flexibly respond to site requests for support
- Help develop individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals.
- Systems and Reporting
- Act as the supply chain team’s subject matter expert for supply chain electronic systems, including design, testing, improvement, and user support
- Act as the supply chain team’s lead for all reporting and systems related projects
- Act as project manager for supply chain systems projects and implementations
- Oversee staff using electronic systems to ensure compliance with protocols
- Regularly solicit feedback from users across all locations to improve systems and reporting
- Optimize supply chain processes
- Propose and execute process improvements within assigned functional areas
- Document and disseminate learnings in formats and venues that help PIH decision makers across sites make data driven improvements
Qualifications:
- Required:
- 6-8 years relevant experience or equivalent specialized education/training in supply chain, operations, informatics,public health or healthcare setting
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to train others in advanced Excel functions
- Experience designing reports using Access, SQL, Tableau, Power BI or similar
- Experience using ERP systems
- Demonstrated success solving problems creatively in order to meet organizational goals and objectives
- Demonstrated success working well with a diverse team of stakeholders, honoring the concerns and priorities of local staff in field sites.
- High attention to detail, flexibility, and a good sense of humor.
- Interest in social justice and/or issues of access to medicines
- Preferred
- Experience with software development as project manager or business analyst; Experience with ERP implementation
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
- Experience working/living in a developing country
- Proficiency in Haitian Kreyol or French
